More about WRAMS:

The model is being run at an unparalleled resolution (250 meters), using the highest resolution sea surface temperature and land use dataset available.  The model updates 4 times per day.   The interface will show the model progressively filling in but target completion times are around 7am, 1pm, 7pm, and 1am Pacific time.

Using www.windalert.com, one of our Meteorologists created this custom profile which includes several key weather stations, virtual stations, and forecast maps around San Diego.   This is a good resource for tracking the model accuracy and also a good example of the power of WindAlert’s profile system.
